Hello everyone,
I've finally finished a project that I started a long time ago. This is my initial encounter with Unreal Engine, and I'm delighted to share it with you.
The major objective was to challenge myself, make the most of my texturing and sculpting abilities, and get experience with Unreal Engine. The project was completed and rendered in UE 5.3. I utilized Megascans foliage and a few textures for the terrain. All the 3d models in the scene were made and textured from scratch. My motivation to create the majority of the scene's look and feel came from playing Hunt Showdown, the boat's texturing was inspired by Metro Exodus.
I used the Ultra Dynamic Sky plugin, which is probably one of the best plugin for UE and it helped a lot in creating various weather conditions quickly. I'd like to thank Everett Gunther, the developer of UDS.
A big thanks to all the talented folks who have made a ton of tutorials for nearly everything, making life easier, and Unreal Engine for streamlining workflow and delivering stunning results in less amount of time.
I wanted to demonstrate the level of attention put into the props and, if it's feasible, provide a breakdown of the scene, so I will be uploading another piece of artwork shortly.
